• Year 3 & 4's Victorian Museum

  The children in Years 3 and 4  have worked hard to prepare their and understanding of all that they have learned about the Victorians.

   

  The class teachers are inviting parents to our museum extravaganza on Wednesday 28th March.  The museum will be open from 1.30 p.m.

• Parking

  We urge parents not to park outside the school gates.  There have been a number of near misses involving both children and parents.

   

  The school is very concerned about the safety of our children, parents and visitors to the school. 

   

  Our neighbours within the local community are very supportive of our school and have the right to enter and leave their home any time during the day without altercation. Please do not block their driveways.

   

• Book Week Celebrations

  The school is celebrating World Book Day week beginning 14th May due to the recent adverse weather conditions and the delay of the St David's Day Eisteddfod.

• Sports Relief

  Wed 21 Mar 2018
  Children can come to school in something red and sporty.  All donations will go to Sports Relief.

• School Open

• Mothers Day Stalls

  The Friends of Peter Lea are holding the Mothers Day stall from Tuesday to Friday this week.  The cost of the gifts are £2 each.

• School Open - Monday 5th March 2018

  School will re-open tomorrow (Monday 5th March). However, due to site conditions, only the main gate will be open.  Pupils to go straight in via the main entrance as per wet weather procedures.

   

  Breakfast Club is open as normal.

   

  Please take extra care when walking to school and ensure children are appropriately dressed for the conditions.

   

  I would urge parents not to drive down  Carter Place and/or park near the entrance or across residents driveways.

• School Closure Update

  Please note the school is closed to all pupils and staff tomorrow (Friday 2nd March) for all pupils and staff due to the Met Office warning alert from Amber to Red for Cardiff.
