• The Year 5 pupils were involved in a joint Intergenerational project with Ysgol Gyfun Plasmawr. The older people came to school to share their stories from their own lives with pupils – many focusing on WW2 and other events that happened when they were children themselves. ‘Get to know you’ games helped bridge the generational gap and get everyone talking together.

 
They then returned to school each day for one week and worked with the pupils on creative projects to retell their stories through music, art and drama. The 6 intergenerational groups created 2 drama pieces for film, 2 songs and artwork
 
They had the opportunity to show off their achievements at an event held at Fairwater Leisure Centre.
