The Peter Lea Community Committee was established to work on projects to benefit not only the children and parents at the school, but to work on projects which would involve members from the Fairwater and Pentrebane community. 

Members of the community include:  Mrs L Bassett, Communities First,  Mrs D Turner Fairwater Leisure Centre, Mrs K Jackson, Fairwater Leisure Centre, Mrs A Middleton, Christchurch, Mr R Edmunds, Fairwater Juniors, Mrs K Hicks, Chair of P.T.A Mrs M John, Singer and staff members Mr C Hillberg, Mrs A Holcombe, Mrs A Tobutt Mrs L Laidlaw-Hamilton, Mrs J Cremona, Mrs H Huckle, Mrs G Payne and Mrs L Parry.

The School and the Committee extends their thanks to the LEA Community Focussed Schools for the funding towards specialised equipment for this event.
